What do you think makes GAULY so special?
GAULY brings together very different personalities and unites them to make an unbeatable team. The diversity of experience, education, and competencies within the company encourages me to grow both professionally and personally. Learning daily and exchanging ideas within our different teams are some of the most important parts of our work at GAULY.
We are successful because we respect each other, rely on each other, and tackle any problems together with creative solutions. We work not only with our heads but also with our hearts as we have a passion for helping our clients.
Why did you choose GAULY?
At GAULY, I am given the opportunity to actively participate in building relationships with those who work on projects in politics, business, and society. It allows me to make a difference in the political field. Right from my start at Gauly, I was given the opportunity to be involved in solving complex strategic issues while being able to implement jointly developed solutions as part of a larger team. In doing so, I could be in direct contact with political decision-makers, central stakeholders, and their respective customers.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
Looking at the newspaper - electronically or on paper - is always the first thing I do in the morning. After seeing the current news of our society, no two days are the same. The planning of projects from the previous day often needs to be changed drastically as the environment of our society has changed drastically overnight. Since Public Affairs is also a lot about networking, attending events in political Berlin is another important element of our work. Especially during the weeks when the German Bundestag is in session, numerous important events take place in Berlin. At these events, I get to hear points of perspectives that help me in my analyses for our clients.
What do you like to do besides work?
Accompanied by my dog, I find my balance between work and leisure time by taking time for long walks around Berlin. I also always have a good book in my luggage as I often lose myself in the world of literature while sipping a cup of coffee in Berlin cafés.
