We support the Pontifical Gregorian University’s Centre for Child Protection (CCP) in Rome. Alongside the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, the CCP is one of the measures initiated by the Catholic Church to raise awareness and prevent the sexual abuse of children and vulnerable persons.
The CCP was founded in 2012 and has been based in Rome since 2015. It trains people around the world who work with minors and other wards. Its focus is on the early detection and prevention of abuse in their immediate environment, and on the appropriate treatment of victims of abuse.
The Center has developed its own international e-learning program and offers the one-semester "Safeguarding of Minors" diploma course at the Pontifical Gregorian University. The CCP also organizes international conferences with high-ranking representatives from science and academe, business, politics and the Church, and conducts research projects on the subject.
We serve as a sounding board and strategic consultant, and support the CCP with their communicative positioning and operational communications.
