Dr. Martin Klonowski is a Senior Manager at GAULY ADVISORS. He has nearly 20 years of experience in public administration at state, federal and EU level.
Martin advises companies, associations and institutions on all matters of political communications (public affairs), in developing their own political-regulatory goals, and positioning them in political decision-making processes (government relations) and in a political/media context.
From 2010 to 2016, Martin was Deputy Head of the Permanent Representation Office for the state of Hesse of Berlin, and until 2014 also press secretary for the Hessian Minister for Federal Affairs. Prior to that, he represented the Hessian Ministry of Economics and Transport in Berlin and Brussels from 2003 to 2010. From 1998 to 2003 he worked as a research assistant and office manager for the Chairman of the Economic Committee of the German Bundestag, Federal Minister Matthias Wissmann, most recently as a consultant in the CDU/CSU parliamentary group.
Martin studied Eastern European History, Philosophy and Public Law in Würzburg and Bonn, and spent time in London, Moscow and St. Petersburg as a research scholar.
