Bernhard Weissberg is a Senior Advisor at GAULY ADVISORS and heads the Zurich office. He brings his more than 30 years of experience in the Swiss media landscape to this position.
Bernhard advises executives in particular on all matters of communication, from strategic positioning to crisis communications. He also supports the Board Chairmen and CEOs. Thanks to his background both as a member of the board of directors of the largest Swiss publishing house, and as editor-in-chief of the country's largest newspapers, he brings with him the necessary experience from both the management and media sides.
From 2007 to 2009, Bernhard served as editor-in-chief of Switzerland's largest newspaper, Blick, after having earlier founded what is now Blick am Abend. Between 2002 and 2006, he was a member of the Executive Board of Ringier AG and responsible for all of the publishing house's newspapers. From 1997 to 2001, Bernhard headed the editorial department of SonntagsBlick.
In the 1980s, Bernhard and other journalists founded the Biel press office. The result was the privately-owned bilingual radio station Radio Canal 3, which Bernhard ran as CEO and editor-in-chief from 1985 to 1990.
